Google Calendar

Use
Google Calender is a free and easy app to organize your schedule and events. You can access your calendar  online, from your phone and even when you're offline. You can share your calendar with friends and also add their calendar to know when they are free. You can customize reminders through SMS or email to never forget your events/appointments.

Customize
You can easily customize your calendar however you want:

• If you want to change the calendar view you simply choose from Day, Week, Month, 4 Days or Agenda to change it.
• If you want to print your calendar yo click on more and then print.
• You can change the density of your calendar on settings.
• When you go to settings and click on settings you get the complete list for you to customize anything else you'd like to change like alerts, reminders, date formats,etc.
• When you click on My calendars tab on the lower left you can easily change your calendar's color or a color for specific events.

Other cool things

• You can share with your friends your free blocks for them to be able to know when they can arrange an appointment with you.
• There are many keyboard shortcuts to make  Google Calendar even easier for you to use, here are some:
• s - calendar settings
• c - create a new event
• t - view today’s schedule
• d - calendar day view
• w - calendar week view
• m - calendar month view
• You can arrange countdown timers to know how much time you have left to finish the current event or/and go to the next.
• You can add events to you calendar through SMS.
• You can schedule Facebook post with Google Calendar.
• You can find other fun customizable features in Labs.
• You can also add events from browser extensions.
• You can also add you daily To-Do lists.                           

In conclusion...          

Teachers can use Google Calendar to easily share with their students future projects and homework. They can also save docs on calendar so they can upload the homework or project instructions. Students can have all their classes's events, homeworks and project reminders in one place and customize alerts/reminders to never forget anything
